What is a Deed of Release?

A deed of release is used to document a settlement reached between two (or more) parties to a dispute. 

The preparation of a deed involves a fair amount of law, can be technical and much has been written on the topic by lawyers and judges. 

This template deed of settlement and release aims to take away some of the pain that goes into trying to document a settlement. 

Steps to Prepare the Deed of Release

  • The following will be sent to you:
    • a pdf template of a deed of release that is generated using a precedent and on the basis of information the submitted by you via the form; and

  • Permits allocation of the settlement sum.
