What are Cease and Desist Letters?

Cease and desist letters are sent to try and stop conduct that interferes with your rights. They are used to provide fair warning that unless the infringing conduct stops further steps may be taken e.g. to approach the court for relief. 

Steps

  • Buy the template; 
  • You will be redirected to the form page (and also be given user access for 7 days);
  • Complete the form; and
  • A pdf will be sent to you.

Use the pdf as a guide to prepare your own letter on your own letterhead.

How to Use This Template

Use this template:

  • if someone is harassing you regarding an unpaid debt; and
  • you would like to try and stop them doing so.

Please keep in mind that legitimate contact by the creditor will be permitted, however, harassing conduct contrary to law will not be allowed.
